Aaron Diaz Spencer, born March 7, 1982 in Puerto Vallarta, México. His father is Mexican and his mother American. While still very young, he moved with his family to the city of San Miguel de Allende, where he spent much of his childhood. He later moves to California to attend high school, he also starts working as a model during this period. His idea was to study Hospitality Management and Tourism in Las Vegas, but gets invited to audition for the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) of Televisa, an opportunity he did not hesitate to take, this is when he realizes that acting was his passion.
His first opportunity in a soap opera comes while still a student of CEA. He became known in 2002 while playing the role of ‘Kike’ in the teen soap opera “Clase 406”, this hit soap opera broke records for running uninterrupted on air 1 year & 7 months.
The second soap opera he lands is “Corazones al Límite”, in 2004, along side Sara Maldonado and Sherlyn. That same year, he ventures into the world of Voice over, lending his voice to the main character in the film Thunderbirds.
In 2005, he stars in the soap opera “Barrera de Amor”, by producer Ernesto Alonso.
In 2006, he ventures to musical theater, with the staging of Grease, where he plays ‘Danny’.
2007 brings new surprises for him, starring in the new production of Pedro Damian, “Lola, erase una vez”, where he plays the coveted ‘Alexander Von Ferdinand’. Also, in this same year, he receives his first ‘Diosa de Plata’ award in the category of new revelation actor for the film Amor Xtremo.
In 2007 he launches his clothing line ‘Perra’ where he debuts as a designer and businessman alongside Kate del Castillo.
Aside from Acting, one of his other passions is singing, in 2009 he releases ‘Enamorate de mi’, his first solo album and music production in the rhythm of big band.
2010 he returns to television in the soap opera “Teresa”, where he starred along side Angelique Boyer. This soap opera broke historic ratings throughout Mexico and aired with the same success in the U.S. and several Latin American countries as well as European countries.
That same year he releases his second album self titled “Aaron Diaz” of which three singles have been released: “Mi Religión”, “Teresa” & “No Puedo Dejar de Amarte”, these last two singles he composed for the soap opera “Teresa”.
2011 he releases his first calendar featuring very artistic and exclusive photos, capturing his good taste and creativity as the director of the project.
Later that year he relocates to Miami to begin the recording another successful soap opera with Univision Networks, called “El Talisman” where he plays his first antagonist role and brings to life Antonio Negrete.
That same year, he makes an important guest appearance, for the ABC Network series PanAM, where he received great reviews from the TV critics and his public.
He decides to release his second Calendar in 2012 following the same success he had on his previous one, at the hands of renowned photographer Uriel Santana.
In 2012/2013 he stars the leading role in the soap Opera “Rosario”, produced by Venevision International in collaboration with Univision Networks.
In 2013, Aaron becomes a father for the first time and presents to the world his baby girl Erin in an exclusive and very elegant photographic session alongside his partner Lola Ponce a renowned Singer and Actress.
That same year he also shoots the lead role in the internationally awarded Movie “Marcelo”, premiered in Film Festivals in Italy (Film & Music Ischia Global Festival, July 2013) and Mexico (FIG. Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara, March 2013) Tijuana (Cineteca), Monterrey and in San Diego, USA.
2013 was a very successful year full of TV and Publicity campaigns both in the USA and Mexico (Pepsi, Honey Bunches of Oats, Sabritas).
He signs an Exclusivity deal with Telemundo/NBC Networks and lands the lead role of Santiago Cano in their new production “Santa Diabla” which aired prime time on August 2013 along side Carlos Ponce and Gaby Espino. Ponce and himself co-write and record the theme song for this soap opera.
The year ends with the great news that he will become a father for the second time as well as the new upcoming TV opportunities.
June of 2014 he moves to Mexico to shoot a special appearance as Cesar Mondragon in the soap opera “Los Miserables” alongside Aracely Arambula. Later that year In October he lands the lead as Arturo Gallardo in the newest prime time production for Telemundo/NBC called “Tierra de Reyes” that finalizes in July of 2015.
In 2015 he also lands the Direct TV Campaign for the Hispanic US market.
